Plugable’s New USB Digital Microscope — Win One

The perfect gift for hobbyists, teachers and kids; this 2.0 Megapixel Digital Microscope allows you to view specimens collected around the house, backyard, your desk, or even the fridge. It comes with special software for Windows, but can also function with the same webcam software you’re used. It captures images and videos to display on your computer using a simple USB connection. Bright LED lights at the opening of the lens provides vision in dim settings. Look at the intricate patterns on a bee wing or examine the electrical traces on your motherboard. This microscope provides you an easy way to zoom in on a wide variety of objects to satisfy your curiosity of the world around you.

Install the included MicroCapture software for Windows, for easy file management and taking measurements of zoomed in images of up to 50x optical magnification, or 200x digital magnification. It’s the perfect tool for science projects. The microscope is detachable from the stand for easy portability and allows for reach of larger objects. Use the snapshot button on the microscope to instantly capture images.

Switch to gutenberg-Blocks!
There the JSON Content Importer Block gives an easier way to use the JSON-APIs.
Or: Switch on the Debugmode by adding "debugmode=10" in the Shortcode.

If all is without success: Open ticket at wordpress.org please

We have a Problem with JSON here:
Either we got no JSON from the API. Or the basenode-parameter is not ok.

      Hello Jon,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’m sorry for any trouble you’ve had, and I’d be glad to help. With respect, we do not make a microscope with an LCD screen built in or attached. We offer a USB2-MICRO-250X, and a USB2-MICRO-800X. A lot of company’s will recommend our software with their documentation, but, we are unable to provide support for products we haven’t manufactured.

I would suggest to look in the documentation for your microscope to find contact information for the manufacturer, and reach out to them directly for support. Feel free to reach out to us directly at: support@plugable.com, and we’ll be here to help.

      Thank you,

      Hello Teri,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’m sorry for any trouble you’ve had, and I’d be glad to help. To be clear, is this for our USB-MICRO-250X? The typical path to get the microscope working is:

      Download the software from: https://plugable.com/drivers/microscope
      Install the Software
      Attach the microscope
      Run the software

If you already have a webcam attached (or built-into) your computer, you’ll need to set the microscope as the default device in the Digital Viewer software setting menu.

This menu is accessed by clicking the grey colored gear icon in the top left corner of the Digital Viewer software window. Once in the settings, you should see a drop down list for “Device Setup” click in that box and you should see the “USB Microscope” option show up. Click on that, and then click “Apply”

If you are still having issues after performing these steps, feel free to reach out to us directly at: support@plugable.com, and we’ll be glad to provide you with direct support.

      Thank you,

      Kevin
