Q: How do I pair my device with the headset?
A: Press the Multi-Function Button (MFB) for 3 seconds, until the LED alternately flashes red and blue. Pairing mode will last 3 minutes. Go to your Bluetooth settings, search for available devices, and look for “Plugable BTHS40B”. When the name appears, pair the devices.
Q: My device is asking for a code, what do I enter?
A: On older devices below Bluetooth version 2.1, you must enter the passcode “0000”.
Q: How do I use the buttons on the headset?
Volume Control: Click the volume button “+” to increase the volume and click the volume button “-” to decrease the volume
Voice Command: While in standby, double click the MFB twice to start the voice command function on a mobile phone with enabled voice control. Repeat to cancel.
Music Play: While in standby, click the MFB once and it will play music on your mobile device
Music Pause: While playing music, click the MFB once to pause, click again to continue play
Next/Previous Track: While playing music , press and hold the volume button (+) for 1 seconds to get the next song, press the volume button(-) to get the previous song.
Answer a call: Click the MFB once to answer the call and talk
Reject incoming call: Press the MFB for 1 second to reject an incoming call
End a call: During the call, click the MFB once to end
Call Mute: During the call, press and hold the volume button “-” for one second to mute the microphone, press and hold the volume button “+” to un-mute the microphone
Call transfer: While talking on the Bluetooth headset, double click the MFB to switch back to mobile phone, repeat to talk on Bluetooth headset.
Re-dial last number: While in standby, press and hold the MFB for 1 second to redial the last call.
Q: How do I find out how much battery my headset has left?
A: In iOS, headset battery status will be displayed on the top status bar up to iOS 10. Starting with iOS 11, this feature has been moved to the Today view Batteries widget. This feature is not available for other operating systems.
Q: How long will the battery last on a single charge?
A: Battery life varies depending usage and volume. Up to 130 hours of standby and 3 hours of audio is possible.
Q: Can I use the headset with my computer?
A: The headset will work if your computer supports Bluetooth 2.0 or higher and the necessary audio profiles.
Q: How many devices can I pair with the headset?
A: The headset can remember pairs with up to two devices. Any more than this and one of the devices will have to be unpaired.
Q: What does the LED indicate?
Pairing mode: LED alternately flashes red/blue
Standby mode(no connected device): Blue LED flashes for 5 minutes, then turns off
Standby mode(connected device): Blue LED flash every 5 seconds
Charging: Solid red LED

Q: The device is paired, but I saw an error when the pair initiated. Is something wrong?
A: The headset should still work fine, this is a bug with the Bluetooth UI on Android that appears occasionally.
Q: How do I reset the headset to factory settings?
A: While powered off, press and hold the MFB for 10 seconds until the red and blue LED indicator turns off.
