Following his role as Vice President of North American Sales at StarTech.com, Henderson joins Plugable to develop, execute, and lead growth strategies and initiatives for all global business development. This appointment quickly follows Lynn Smurthwaite-Murphy stepping into the role of CEO and Bernie Thompson, founder, shifting responsibilities into his position as Chief Technology Officer.

Looking forward to the future, Henderson’s goal is to focus primarily on the docking station market opportunity in North America.

In his most recent role, Henderson was the Vice President of North American Sales at StarTech.com, overseeing significant double digit growth through reseller partners and distributors. Additionally, Henderson led the charge in launching an Enterprise Business Development Team, which was focused on end customers and pulling the business through the channel. Prior to StarTech.com, Henderson could be seen wearing multiple hats and was best known for “rolling up his sleeves” and getting the job done. He launched Ingram Canada’s private label brand and their consumer electronics business and handled multiple roles during his nine years at LG, including marketing, product management and sales. Overall, Henderson has seen great success in roles at high growth companies managing new initiatives and launches and looks forward to bringing that experience and success to Plugable.
