The New Intel Lunar Lake Systems Have Arrived! Here’s the Compatibility Story with Plugable Devices

Intel has just released a whole new set of laptop processors known as the Intel Core Ultra 200V Series processors or, more conveniently, the Lunar Lake series processors. Aiming to rival the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon X ARM chip and well-regarded Apple Silicon chips, these processors claim excellent power efficiency and battery life and support the newer AI PC features adopted across the laptop and desktop space. Additionally, hosts with these processors come standard with Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Intel also selects particular laptops to be a part of the Intel Evo Platform. This platform has been around since 2020 and ensures that the laptops in the program are designed to keep up with today’s fast-paced lifestyle. Features for the overall platform include waking in an instant from sleep in less than 1 second, Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) with 6 GHz support, and more. Additionally, Intel developed the Engineered for Evo program, which ensures that accessories provide a great experience with Evo laptops.
