To power your programming learning experience, our compact switching power adapter is designed to provide 5V (2.4A) of power to single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi. The adapter is compatible with all current versions of the Raspberry Pi.
Our new USB-C1M power adapter can also be used where ever USB 5V power is needed, with no risk of damage, and it will happily work at the full current range, no matter what cable you use.
Aside from the Raspberry Pi series, this charger can be used for numerous other tasks, anything that requires a small USB power supply. Some examples include USB LED Christmas lights, Television LED bias lighting, charging e-cigarettes, phones or tablets that don’t require special signalling on the data lines (D+, D-), and more Other small IOT (Internet of Things) devices can be powered as well.
Q: The label on the power adapter says 5 volts, but the Raspberry Pi needs 5.25V to be stable. Will this power adapter be good enough?
A: Yes! While the label on the power adapter says 5 volts, the output has been increased and if checked with a multi-meter should be around 5.25V with no load.
